Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom at Viewing Spot in Aomori Pref.

AOMORI — Someiyoshino cherry blossoms have reached full bloom at Hirosaki Park in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, a well-known cherry blossom viewing spot in northern Japan.

The cherry blossoms began to bloom in the park on April 11 and reached full bloom on Thursday.

At night, the rows of cherry trees are illuminated, reflecting their beautiful form on the surface of Hirosaki Castle moats. From around Monday, visitors will be able to enjoy a picturesque scene created by the fallen petals covering the water surface.
