Cherry Blossoms Bloom in Japan’s Okayama, 3 Days Earlier than Last Year

The Okayama Regional Meteorological Observatory announced on Wednesday that the Someiyoshino cherry blossoms have begun to bloom. This is three days earlier than last year, which was in line with the average.

According to the observatory, the blossoms typically reach full bloom in about a week, but with high temperatures expected in the prefecture in the coming days, the full bloom may come earlier than usual.
