Tokaido Shinkansen Operations Resume after Person Entering Tracks Suspends Services Between Shizuoka, Shinfuji Stations (Update1)

Tokaido Shinkansen line services have resumed following the suspension of trains after a person entered the tracks between Shizuoka and Shinfuji stations.

Nagoya-bound services traveling between Tokyo to Shizoka were suspended at around 3:45 p.m. Services gradually resumed at around 4:55 p.m.

The person’s safety was confirmed. The reason for the person entering the tracks is unknown.
