MPD’s Security Dog Unit Begins Searching for Victims in Quake-Hit Noto Peninsula in Japan

The Metropolitan Police Department has dispatched a security dog unit to Suzu, Ishikawa Prefecture, to search for victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake.

The department released images of a security dog unit searching for victims on Wednesday.

The security dog unit is working to rescue victims trapped in collapsed houses and other structures in the city.
