4 Injured as Pipe Bursts at Semiconductor-Related Company’s Factory in Saitama Prefecture

A pipe burst Thursday at a factory belonging to semiconductor-related company Resonac Corp. in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, during cleaning operations that afternoon.

Four people were taken to the hospital with injuries. They are said to be conscious and able to converse with others.

The factory is located about 3 kilometers southwest of Chichibu City Hall.
